About Susie
For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and young people across primary, secondary, state and independent schools as a qualified languages teacher. For the past five years, I’ve combined that educational experience with my passion for supporting international families, helping children settle happily and confidently into life in England.
Having lived overseas myself, I know that relocating is about so much more than unpacking boxes. It’s about finding your feet, making friends, understanding a new culture and feeling that you truly belong. That’s why I’m passionate about being a trusted guide for both children and parents throughout the journey.
I speak fluent German and Italian, as well as good French, and I love working with families from all over the world. Every family is different of course, so one of the things I enjoy most is getting to know each child, understanding what makes them tick and helping them grow in confidence, independence and happiness.
I love to travel and have travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, Australia and America.
Day to day I love to exercise, enjoy good food with family and friends, or you’ll find my husband and I cheering on our own two teenagers as they pursue their latest adventures.
Based in Cheshire, North West England, I combine in-depth local knowledge with an international perspective shaped by my own experience of travel and living abroad. I enjoy helping families feel at home – not just in their new schools, but in their new communities and everyday lives too.
